There are a lot of people who work very hard every week to make Collective Church a great experience for everybody. We appreciate everyone who serves in any way!
We need friendly faces to man the registration desk and spend time watching the kiddos Sunday mornings during the two service times. There are various other opportunities to volunteer during special events. Heads up: volunteers in the children's ministry must pass a background check. Email Jackie Fritzel if you're interested!
Let's be honest - some of our churchgoers only show up every Sunday because of the free coffee. Knowing this, we need dedicated individuals willing to arrive before the 9am service to make/set up the coffee and others to stay a few minutes after the 10:30am service to help clean up the coffee station. Are you the hero we've been waiting for? Email Rob Carmack if you're interested!
Some people are just naturally warm and friendly. Others are not, but they do know how to fake it. Regardless of which you are, we need your help! Greeters show up a few minutes before each service to pass out programs and welcome arriving guests. Smiles aren't required, but are encouraged! Email Rob Carmack if you're interested!
Worship Team Members
Are you musically inclined? Just really good with a sound board? We need both! Our worship team includes talented musicians to help our small church feel powerful and tech wizards who make sure the music sounds right and the podcast records correctly. Email Matt Bay if you're interested!
Donations and Service Projects
We're a church on a mission: to serve the Roanoke community and those in the surrounding areas to the best of our ability. To this end, we're collecting donations for Project Hope and the Roanoke Food Pantry. We also have various service projects or other donation collections pop up throughout the year. You can learn more about these projects on our Missions page. Email Jackie Fritzel if you're interested in volunteering or donating!
We know prayer works. Are you a prayer warrior willing to lend your time and energy to support our church, leadership, membership and community in this way? Members of the prayer team are asked to respect the privacy and confidentiality of all requests. Email Megan Lawton if you’re interested in joining the prayer team!
If you've noticed a need or opportunity we haven't thought of yet, let us know!
