Anniversary Dinner - Last Day to Sign Up!
Today is the last day to sign up for the anniversary dinner! We hope to see you all at the church Friday, Feb. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
This year's dinner will be catered by Doc's Street Grill (the same place that catered last year), and the cost is $20 per person. It is BYOB, and there will be trivia! As usual there will not be childcare, as we're hoping this can be a fun night out for the adults (and older teenagers). You can pay online through the website! Select "Anniversary Dinner" from the dropdown menu instead of "General Donation."
We don't want the cost to preclude anyone from attending! Please emailInfo@CollectiveChurch.net if you'd like to attend but need financial assistance. You can also email with any questions.
Update to Masks Recommendations
The CDC is expected to update their indoor mask guidelines this week. Given the decrease in North Texas hospitalizations and the apparent shift from a pandemic to an endemic, masks are no longer strongly recommended for everyone in the building. However, masks are still strongly encouraged if you're recovering from an illness and for those working in our kid's ministry with children younger than 5 years old. Collective Church leadership continues to review federal and state guidance and recommendations for how we best protect our community. The health and safety of our church family is our top priority, and we will continue to adjust our plans accordingly.
We will continue to provide masks and hand sanitizer inside the building. Masks are available at the registration desk and directly inside the atrium doors at the bulletin table. Hand sanitizer is available at the registration desk, the coffee table, and both bulletin tables. And, as always, if you are sick we ask that you stay home and join us through our Facebook livestream.
New Community Partners
As we look at what it means to be good neighbors in Roanoke and North Texas, and how to help serve those who need additional support, Collective Church is adding new community partners! You can stay up-to-date on the donated items we're collecting and our other missions on the website.
Community Storehouse:Collective Church has partnered with Community Storehouse, a local nonprofit with a mission to help children stay, and be successful, in school. While the organization has a variety or programs aimed at keeping kids in school, Collective Church is specifically helping with the food pantry and snack packs programs.
Noah's Ministry: We are also working with Noah’s Ministry, a nonprofit which helps churches facilitate safe space for children and adults with special needs and educates groups and individuals on the reality of life for special needs families. (Note: Our building and children’s program rooms are wheelchair accessible. If you or your child needs particular accommodations, please email Info@CollectiveChurch.net.)
Denton County Friends of the Family: We are continuing to partner with Denton County Friends of the Family (DCFoF), a nonprofit dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive services to those impacted by rape, sexual abuse, and domestic violence.
Donation Drives
We're accepting donations to support our community partners! There is a donation table in the back of the sanctuary where you can leave food items for the Community Storehouse. They collect a variety of nonperishable food items, and we are specifically requesting donations for food items that can be used to create healthy weekend snack packs. (Think food a six-year-old could open and eat on their own.)
There is also a donation basket in the Kid's Ministry area where you can leave personal items for Denton County Friends of the Family. DCFoF accepts donations of items to support women and children as they transition out of violent situations, including clothing, baby items, home items, and hygiene products. While we are accepting items of all kinds, we have been specifically asked to collect menstrual pads of various sizes.

Please be praying for our church's ability to be a good neighbor to the Roanoke and North Texas communities. We want to show the compassion, love, and practical support Jesus would show to those in need. We especially want to address the needs of marginalized communities, and want to show grace and peace to groups and individuals who may not otherwise be receiving either.
